MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - A candidate looking for a seat at the table.
"Right now, we're still in decay and we got to bring it back," said Dan McQueen, Texas Senate candidate.
McQueen visited the Tall City planting seeds for his senate run.
"We are broke with a drug problem and we are broke with a government problem," said McQueen.
The former is what he talked to the kids at Matthew's Martial Arts in Midland about.
"Midland is part of all of Texas," said McQueen.
He demonstrated through martial arts skills of his own on how he plans on fighting the problem.
"We're promoting now is the brotherhood of all of our martial artists. We're coming together for Texas breaks addiction," said McQueen.
Whether it's breaking 100 boards across Texas or riding on his motorcycle across the state, McQueen says its all to make the state and country better.
"When we're united as Americans, there isn't anything we can't do," said McQueen.
