Flash Flood Watch issued for much of viewing area through Thursday morning

(KWES) - The National Weather Service in Midland has issued a flash flood watch for much of the viewing area.

The watch is in effect through Thursday morning.

The following counties are included in the watch: Andrews, Borden, Crane, Dawson, Ector, Gaines, Glasscock, Howard, Martin, Midland, Mitchell, Pecos, Reagan, Scurry, Terrell Upton, Ward and Winker County.

Locally heavy rainfall is possible in the area for much of this week.

The First Alert Weather Team will be tracking the potential flooding across the area.
