Medical Center Health System hosting 34th Annual Permian Basin Health Fair in Oct.

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

The Medical Center Health System will be hosting their 34th Annual Permian Basin Fair on Oct. 7, 2017.

The event will take place in Barn G at the Ector County Coliseum from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Community members are encouraged to attend the health fair and enjoy a day of celebrating health and wellness with important health information, screenings, activities and more.

Some of the items being screenings and activities include: Blood sugar/glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides and PSA, body fat/BMI, pulmonary function screening, blood drive, vision testing, dental screening, balance testing, adult flu shots, advanced directives/Power of Attorney, heart attack risk assessment, flexibility testing, ask the pharmacist, massage therapy, lung cancer screening, voter registration, mega lung display and cooking demonstrations.

Admission to the event is free.
