MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -

R.L. Stine, author of the popular children’s books Goosebumps, along with Brendan Wenzel will make a public appearance in Midland, Monday, Sept. 18.

The authors will visit with students at Bowie Elementary to spread the message that every student has a story to tell regardless of background or circumstance.

Stine and Wenzel will also be signing books at the Centennial Library starting at 4:30 p.m.

The event is free and will feature Goosebumps-themed activities for the kids, including a maze, movie and Q&A with Stine.

Throughout the week first-grade students around Midland County will also get a copy of Wenzel's book, “They All Saw a Cat.”
