ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

Golfers hit the links in Odessa on Monday to benefit police and firefighters.

The 6th annual Professional Police Officer Association of Odessa Golf Tournament was held at Ratliff Ranch.

You can choose to help either law enforcement or fire crews.

The money goes toward their general funds accounts for yearly activities.

"It's one of the tournaments I know all these guys look forward to. They enjoy the camaraderie between us, so it's a lot of fun," said Jon Foust, Vice President of the PPOA.

Officials tell us they had teams from Midland, Odessa and even Lamesa.
