Jailer Brent Moss has been with the department about 3 years, in June he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma stage 4 brain cancer. Moss just completed his first round of radiation and chemotherapy.

Moss is waiting to have an MRI to see the results of the treatment and to find out if he is able to come back to work on a light duty basis.

The department's goal is to raise money to assist Moss with the mounting medical bills and to help him put his mind at ease in this trying time for him and his family. The sheriff's office is having a hamburger fundraiser, $10 will get you a burger, chips and drink.

You can stop by Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the sheriff office's sally port area. To order ahead call Adam Hilliard at 432-230-7061.
