BREAKING: Hurricane Irma makes landfall in FL Keys

Hurricane Irma makes landfall along the lower Florida Keys as a major hurricane.

At 9:10 a.m. EDT Sunday, Hurricane Irma made landfall in Cudjoe Key, Florida as a Category 4 storm with wind of 130 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center. 

According to the NHC, Irma remains a powerful Category 4 hurricane with wind sustained at 130 mph while moving to the north and northwest.

We're told Irma is forecast to move up the west coast of Florida as a major hurricane, possibly making another landfall later today or into Monday.
