Odessa police searching for 2 suspects following early morning stabbing

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

The Odessa Police Department is searching for 2 suspects in connection with a stabbing that occurred early Tuesday morning.

Police were called out to the 1500 block of W. 12th St. just before 12:30 a.m. in reference to an assault.

We're told when officers arrived, they found a 31-year-old man, who reported that he was stabbed by two men.

According to the report, the victim reported that he saw the two men in the alley and asked them what they were doing.

That's when, police said, one of the men stabbed the victim on his left arm and shoulder while the other man struck him in the head.

Police said both suspects fled the scene in the alley.

We're told the victim was taken to Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 25-years-old, approximately 5'9" tall, wearing a black hoodie and black shorts.

The second suspect is also a Hispanic male, approximately 25-year-old old, approximately 6-foot-tall, around 280 pounds, wearing a dark shirt and black pants.
