(KWES) - The First Alert Weather Team has issued a First Alert Weather Day for Tuesday.
Storms will start to pop up in West Texas around 3 p.m. close to the mountains and then move eastward throughout the afternoon and evening.
Some storms could go severe bringing hail up to 2" in diameter and wind gusts up to 70 miles per hour.
Storms could also bring heavy rain which could lead to localized flooding.
The tornado threat is low.
