ODESSA, TX (KWES) - We have new details following a car-pedestrian crash where one woman was hit twice by two different vehicles.
According to a news release from the Odessa Police Department, an argument occurred between Joanna Borunda, 25, and Olegario Borunda Jr., 28, occurred in the 5300 block of E. 42nd St. early Saturday morning.
We're told Joanna, who is Olegario's wife, get out of a Toyota 4Runner, being driven by Olegario.
According to the arrest affidavit, a witness stated that he saw a silver sedan vehicle run over Joanna and continued to drive eastbound on Highway 191 without stopping.
Then a short time later, according to the affidavit, Olegario returned to the area and the witness saw a silver Toyota 4Runner also run over Joanna.
According to the affidavit, further investigation revealed that Olegario, who was arrested at the scene for DWI, was the driver of the 4Runner.
The affidavit stated that Olegario stated that he had several alcoholic beverages prior to dropping off Joanna on the side of the road.
The affidavit also reported that Olegario had an alcohol concentration of more than 0.08.
Olegario has been charged with intoxication assault.
Police are still looking for the driver of the silver sedan.
