(RNN) - President George H.W. Bush has been hospitalized for a "mild case of pneumonia" according to his spokesman.
Jim McGrath said he was hospitalized Friday and is "already well on the path to recovery."

He is being held for further observation at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Bush is 92 years old and was previously hospitalized in January.
The former president spent two weeks in a Houston hospital during another bout with pneumonia. He was admitted on Jan. 14 with breathing problems and was discharged on Jan. 30. He did spend a few days in intensive care.
