It was a great day to spend time outdoors, especially at the Sibley Nature Center.Today they held their third annual Festival.
Guests were able to learn and celebrate how people and animals made their homes in the Llano Estacado region. Friends and families visited different stations among the trail and listened to guest speakers who spoke about habitats for plants, animals, and people in the Llano Estacado. Each year the center focuses on different topics to get visitors and families out exploring."It encourages the community to come out and check out what Sibley is all about, get on the trails and learn about the things that are beautiful. a lot of people look around and say oh West Texas its brown dirt well look a little closer with us and you'll find Sibley nature center and Llano Estacado region has so much to offer," says Autumn Vest. If you missed the festival, the trail is always open and the center is open from Monday to Saturday. You can follow up with more Sibley Nature Center events on their facebook page.
