BIG SPRING, TX (KWES) - The Payless Shoesource store in Big Spring is one of the 400 stores that will be closing following Tuesday's announcement by the company that they were filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The store is located at 2011 S. Gregg St.
In a statement, Payless CEO W. Paul Jones called this a "difficult, but necessary decision driven by the continued challenges of the retail environment."
There's no word how many employees were affected by the closure.
