New information released following deadly accident in Ector Co.

ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

DPS Troopers have released new details following a deadly accident in Ector County on Sunday afternoon.

We're told four people were killed and two others were injured in a two vehicle accident.

The accident happened on State Loop 338, about 4.5 miles north of Odessa.

DPS Troopers said a 2008 Ford F-250 pickup was traveling north on State Loop 338 when the driver lost control, entered the southbound lane colliding with a 2016 Dodge pickup towing a cargo trailer.

The driver of the Ford F-250, Christopher Soliz, 30, of Odessa and two passengers, Elizabeth Navarrette, 29 of Odessa and an eight-year-old girl were pronounced dead at the scene.

We're told the driver of the 2016 Dodge pickup, Calistro Carrillo, 35, of Odessa, was also pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other passengers in the Ford F-250, a two-year-old girl and 10-year-old girl, were taken to the hospital with injuries. Their conditions weren't released.
