ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

Five people were arrested in connection with the burglary of a building last week.

Billy Joiner, 31, Zella Lippe, 55, Kimberly Henslee, 54, Lori Carbery, 47 and George Kostelaz, 57, have been charged with burglary of a building.

Back on March 30 around 5:30 p.m., Odessa police were called out to the 1500 block of Douglas Dr. in reference to a burglary in progress.

According to the report, as officers were responding they learned that the suspects were loading items into a white van in the alley.

Once officers arrived, they spoke with all five of the suspects and observed the suspects exiting the back yard of a home and placing items into the van.

The report stated that officers reached out to the owner of the home. The owner stated that the home was vacant and that no one had permission to enter the home.

All five were later arrested and taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

We're told all the stolen property was returned.
