A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for several counties in West Texas.

The watch is for the following counties: Borden, Crockett, Glasscock, Howard, Mitchell, Nolan, Pecos, Reagan, Scurry, Sterling, Terrell and Upton County.

The watch is in effect until 10 p.m. CDT tonight.

As the Stormtracker 9 Weather Team has reported, with the strongest storms, we could see golf ball size hail, strong winds and even an isolated tornado. The tornado threat looks to be mainly for the lower Trans-Pecos area.
