ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

After a disappointing season in its first year, the University of Texas of the Permian Basin football program will look to reverse their fortunes by starting practice bright and early Tuesday morning.

The team will have that early start at 6 a.m. with just helmets and no contact.

They won't be in full pads for another few days though and it's almost a full month until the teams spring game on April 21 at 6 p.m.

That game is at Ratliff Stadium and is free for fans to get their first look at this year's Falcon team.
