"All clear" given at Midland H.E.B. off of Loop 250

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -

UPDATE: The "all clear" has been given following a reported bomb threat at the Midland H.E.B. off of Loop 250. 

All employees have been allowed back into the building.

Rachel Walker with the Midland Police Department said, the threat was an anonymous written threat. 

No other details have been released.

We have just confirmed that the Midland H.E.B. off of Loop 250 has been evacuated due to reports of a bomb threat.

The entire building has been evacuated according to police and a building sweep is being completed at this time. 

Dya Campos with H.E.B. Public Relations tells us the store was evacuated for safety and out of an abundance of caution. 

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.

The Midland Police Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit is on the scene. 

Campos added that the store will most likely reopen tonight after the scene has been cleared.
