(RNN) – Customers of Citizens Bank are not receiving their direct deposits because of a transaction issue.
The Rhode Island-based bank released a statement Friday morning, blaming vendor issues for the problem. According to its website, Citizens Bank operates 1,200 branches in 11 states: Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.
“Customers are seeing a delay in transactions posting to their accounts, due to a vendor processing issues,” wrote a bank representative on Twitter. “The issue is affecting multiple financial institutions. We appreciate the patience of our customers as we work to resolve the issue.”
