ODESSA, TX (KWES) - A Florida fugitive is behind bars following an incident last Friday in Odessa.
Jesus Perez-Ramos, 48, is charged with fugitive from justice, probation violation - possession of a short barrel firearm (warrant) and probation violation - carrying a concealed weapon (warrant).
Police said while they were at the Quail Run Apartments in the 4300 block of E. 53rd St., they spoke with a man matching the description of a wanted subject.
An investigation revealed that Perez-Ramos had two felony warrants out of Florida.
Perez-Ramos was later arrested and taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
