Man charged with stealing $4,700 from Odessa Walgreens store

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

One man is behind bars on theft charges following an incident earlier this month.

Jorge Ordonez, 18, was arrested.

Back on March 2, 2017, police were called out to the Walgreens in the 2100 block of E. 42nd St. in reference to a theft.

When officers arrived, Walgreens employees stated that they needed to file a report.

An investigation revealed that between December of 2016 and March of 2107, Ordonez, who was a former employee, stole approximately $4,700 from Walgreens.

Officers obtained a theft warrant for Ordonez who was arrested last Saturday.
