Numerous elections in Howard Co. canceled

HOWARD COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

The May elections are quickly approaching and several races in Howard County have been canceled.

For the city of Big Spring, Terry McDaniel will be elected to the City Council, District 3 seat along with Howard Stewart for the City Council, District 4 seat.

For Big Spring I.S.D., the District 1, 3, and 6 board trustee races were canceled. As a result, Thomas Olague, Julie Harris and Manual Chavira will be elected to their selected seats.

In the city of Coahoma, Warren Wallace will be elected as mayor. For the Coahoma Independent School District, Kandy Alaman and Lori Martinez will be elected as At Large Board Trustees. Michael Brooks, who will also be an At Large Board Trustee, will also be elected.

In the city of Forsan, three city council members for Alderman will be elected. Those individuals are Mary Gressett, Fred Holguin and Ramon Holguin. For the Forsan I.S.D. three board trustees will be elected. Those individuals are Glenn Graves, James (Jimmy) Miller and Rebecca (Becky) Walsh.
