ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

An Odessa teen accused of murdering his parents last March was back in court Wednesday. This time it was for a pre-trial hearing but trial won't be starting soon.

Gabe McDonald's trial date was set for March 31 but it was moved back once again.

Both the state and McDonald's defense, Justin Low, said they've already gotten back several test results from the scene and the gun that was used but they're waiting on final DNA results.

Judge James Rush said he's confident both parties are doing the most they can to move forward with the trial.

No new date was set. The judge asked all parties involved to notify him once the DNA results are back.

Ector County District Attorney Bobby Bland said there's no telling how long that can be.
