ODESSA- The Permian Lady Panthers erased a first half defect against Klondike to give Mojo it's third win of the year.
The Lady Panthers were down 19-17 at the half, but strong play down the stretch from Ta'Quasha Lynch and Alena Medero helped Permian come away with a 52-48 victory.
"It feels awesome you know, " Permian head coach Angel Braziel-Smith said. "We've been working hard all week and step it up in our defense and the girls came out and played poised and under control and as a team, they looked good today."
"First quarter we did good, we had our intensity up," Permian senior Ta'Quasha Lynch. "Second quarter I think we just fell apart and that second half we just came up came strong and just hustled."
"It definitely adds a lot of confidence in our season, Klondike is a good team," Braziel-Smith said. "It definitely added something to look forward to during our district."
