Ector County I.S.D. announces activity cancellations

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

The winter weather in the Permian Basin is causing problems for everyone.

The Ector County Independent School District said due to the hazardous road conditions several things have been canceled.

Those items include:

  • CTE buses during the day (kids are staying at their home campuses)
  • Afternoon pre-k classes (1/2 day campuses)
  • All after school elementary activities 
  • The middle school gymnastics meet
  • All athletics trips (varsity and sub-varsity) scheduled to leave at 1 p.m. or earlier.
  • The Eastside Orchestra Concert 
  • Bowie MS band concert rescheduled to Monday night

All other concerts, athletics contests, and activities are going on as scheduled.
