ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Residents are being allowed to return home following a bomb threat on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the City of Odessa Twitter, the bomb threat was located at 5th Street and Elliott Avenue.
Andrea Goodson, spokesperson for the City of Odessa said police were tipped off to a vehicle in a nearby church parking lot.
A perimeter was set up in the area and several streets were closed.
However, we're told the bomb squad has not detected a credible threat at this time.
No other information was released.
