WARD COUNTY, TX (KWES) - Two Midland men are dead and two others are recovering following a morning accident last week.
The accident happened around 6:45 a.m. on Business Interstate 20, about half a mile east of Barstow.
DPS Troopers said a 2016 Dodge Ram 5500 truck was traveling west on BI-20 and veered into the eastbound lane of traffic hitting a 2008 Ford F-350 truck.
Two passengers in the Dodge, Issac Mendoza-Torres, 19 and Hector Lujan, 20, both of Midland, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge, Raymundo Butler, 27, of Midland and the driver of the Ford F-350, Ramiro Quintanilla, 43, of Edinburg, Texas, were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
