Very Merry Midland Event
Downtown Midland (303 W. Wall St.)
Thurs., Dec. 2, 2016 - Sun., Dec. 23, 2016
Dec. 2 is a VIP event (you can purchase tickets here)

Activities include ice skating, hot chocolate, a gingerbread house and live mannequins in windows of select buildings.

Christmas Tree Lighting
Sat., Dec. 3, 2016
Wadley Barron Duck Pond, 1001 N. "A" Street
Festivities will begin at 5:45 p.m., Lighting at 6:15 p.m.

Lighted Christmas Tree Parade
Sat., Dec. 10, 2016
Parade will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The parade route will follow "A" Street from Ventura Avenue near Windlands Park and conclude near Midland High School.
The theme for this year's parade is "Rockin' Christmas'

Midland Community Band Concert
Sat., Dec. 10, 2016

2016 Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Thurs., Dec. 1, 2016
Starbright Village, 625 W. Pool Rd. (off of Interstate 20 and Hwy. 385)
Entertainment starts at 5:30 p.m., Ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m.

Parade of Lights
Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016
Parade begins at 6:30 p.m.
The parade route will begin south on Andrews Highway from 23rd Street, then west on 3rd Street to Medical Center Hospital Farmer's Market Parking Lot.

Starbright Village
Nightly, Thurs., Dec. 1, 2016 - Jan. 1, 2017
625 W. Pool Rd. (off of Interstate 20 and Hwy. 385)
6 p.m. - 11 p.m.
Largest display of lights in the Permian Basin with over 270,000 lights and holiday themed displays. You can walk or drive through the area.
Don't forget to visit Santa in Santa Land on Dec. 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Big Spring

Tree Lighting Ceremony
Thurs., Dec. 1, 2016
Scenic Mountain Medical Center Front Lawn
6 p.m. 
The Forsan Honor Choir will be performing Christmas carols. Santa Claus will also make a special appearance during the event. The tree lighting is open to the community. Following the ceremony, there will be hot chocolate and cookies in the main lobby.

Community Christmas Parade
Sat., Dec. 3, 2016
5:30 p.m.
Route will be along Scurry Street

Festival of Lights
Nightly, Thurs., Dec. 15 - Sat., Dec. 31, 2016
Comanche Trail Park
6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Over 1 million lights will be on display throughout the park.
