ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

One man is behind bars accused of stealing a 30-pack of beer from a convenience store in Ector County.

Josue Nieto, 20, is charged with aggravated robbery and resisting arrest.

It all took place at the 7-Eleven early Tuesday morning in the 1500 block of North FM 1936.

The Ector County Sheriff's Office said when they arrived on the scene, they found a man inside the store wearing a blue polo shirt, tan pants and a white t-shirt tied around his face. Authorities said the man  was also holding a broken jagged beer bottle in his right hand and a 30-pack of beer in the other hand.

We're told Nieto left the store and was ordered to drop the broken bottle.

Deputies said he complied by dropping the bottle and resisted attempts to take him into custody but was later handcuffed.

Further investigation showed that the clerk of the store said Nieto walked into the store with the broken beer bottle and cursed at him and said he would "shank him" if he moved.

Bond for Nieto has been set at $78,500.
