ODESSA, TX (KWES) - One woman is behind bars following an evening incident in Odessa.
Guadalupe Villagomez, 60, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence).
Odessa police said they were called out to the 2600 block of Santa Cruz Ln. in reference to a domestic disturbance.
An investigation revealed that after Villagomez and her husband got into an argument, police said Villagomez grabbed a large kitchen knife and pointed it at her husband's stomach.
According to the report, that's when Villagomez said that she was going to kill her husband.
Villagomez was later arrested and taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
No injuries were reported.
