PRESIDIO COUNTY, TX (KWES) - Six people were taken into custody and nearly 300 pounds of marijuana was seized during a weekend traffic stop.
The traffic stop took place 13 miles south of Marfa on U.S. Highway 67.
We're told that's where the Presidio County Sheriff's Office and HSI agents discovered 297 pounds of marijuana.
Authorities said Texas DPS and Parks and Wildlife assisted the Sheriff's Office and HSI.
Homeland Security is now leading the investigation.
The names of the six men in custody weren't released.
