The three time defending champion Midland RockHounds have a new leader.
Fran Riordan has been named the new manager of the team.
The move comes after former manager Ryan Christenson was named the new manager of the Triple A Nashville Sounds.
Riordan has been with Oakland's Single A affiliate Beloit for the past two seasons
Riordan is also a hall of fame manager in the independent ranks where had a hugely successful 14 year run.
Some of the returning RockHounds staff includes: pitching coach John Wasdin, hitting coach Brian McArn and athletic trainer Justin Whitehouse.
The RockHounds became the first team in 91 years to win three straight Texas League Championships.
They will look to get a fourth with a brand new manager.
