ICYMI: Here's what happened at Midland City Council

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - On Tuesday's City Council meeting, some important topics were discussed right off the bat.

Council members discussed working with HDR Engineering to help with some of the power outage issues the city said was affecting the Water Pollution Control Plant.

The council also discussed a grant of over &15,000 going to the fire department to help with training, equipment, and supplies.

Members of the council also talked about choosing citizens to help with parking and directing traffic at events like Rockhounds games.

The council also took a second look at allowing alcohol to be severed at one restaurant on East Florida Ave and South Weatherford and another on North Big Spring and Palmer Drive.
