MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - The Midland Fire Department Community Risk Reduction Program is set to install donated smoke detectors for free, by appointment, November 10.
The smoke detector "blitz" will happen in an area of Midland that has been deemed one of the highest-risk areas for fires. The coverage area will be east of A St., north of Highway 80 and south of Wadley Ave.
The event is set for 1:30 pm to 5 p.m.
