Two people are behind bars on several charges after authorities executed a narcotics search warrant.

Tony Rodriguez, 57, and Amy White, 36, were arrested.

According to the report, the search warrant was executed at the Motel 6 in the 200 East Interstate 20.

Police said while they were executing the warrant, they spoke with two children along with Rodriguez and White.

Further investigation revealed drug paraphernalia such as scales, foil paper, syringes and open pill bottles containing multiple pills.

We're told that the pills were accessible to both the children, ages seven and 11.

Officials added that both Rodriguez and White knew that the children could take the pills and syringes at any given time.

Rodriguez is charged with manufacture or delivery of heroin, two counts of endangering a child and for a misdemeanor warrant.  White is charged with two counts of endangering a child, tampering with physical evidence and possession of dangerous drugs.
