ODESSA, TX (KWES) - One man is behind bars after police said he threatened his brother in law with a knife.
Eric Mitchell, 58, was arrested Wednesday morning on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence).
Police said they were called out to the 1100 block of North Adams Ave. in reference to a domestic disturbance.
When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim and Mitchell.
Police said further investigation revealed that after both subjects got into a physical disturbance, Mitchell pulled out a knife and threatened his brother in law.
Mitchell was taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
