MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -

Employees at Advance Kwik Lube in Midland shaved their heads in support of the owner's daughter who has been diagnosed with aggressive lymphoma.

Lauren Eardmann has battled cancer four times in the last six years and this year she became a speaker for M.D. Anderson in Houston to help spread and educate cancer awareness.

The employees said after watching Lauren shave her head due to loss of hair, they wanted to find a way to show her that they were supporting her all the way in Midland.

"When I first called Lauren for her approval, I was just going to surprise her but when I called her for approval I could hear it in her voice she was tearing up and she was like "are you serious?" I was like yeah, we're going to support her, we're not there. We're going to do our best from nine hours away," said Tony Suchil with Advance Kwik Lube.

Lauren is already at M.D. Anderson in Houston and will have to stay until February 2017 for constant treatments.
