Identical twins arrested for crimes related to stolen vehicles

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

Identical Twins Leo and Leon Flores,17, were arrested in separate crimes related to stolen vehicles.

Police responded to the 2900 block of West 6th Street in response to a burglary and a stolen car on July 27.

The victim told police that a man burglarized her vehicle and stole the other one. 

Leon was already in custody at the Ector County Detention Center. Through his finger prints, Leon was identified as the thief.

Police say he was interviewed and confessed to the crime.

In an unrelated incident on July 20, police responded to the 1100 block of Avenida De Mexico. 

The victim told police that a man burglarized a vehicle and stole the other.

Leo's print traced him back to the crime. Police say they found him on October 12 in the 1200 block of Oak Avenue. He was charged with theft of property.

Leon was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
