MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - While the Permian Basin International Oil Show is coming to a close in Odessa, another one is just getting started in Midland.
Roseland Oil and Gas brought the West Texas Oil and Gas Convention to the Tall City.
This year's show in Midland started Thursday and runs through Friday at the Midland Horseshoe Arena.
The show allows businesses in the industry a chance to show off their latest and greatest products and services.
Something that brings companies from around the country and at least one business who made the trip from Canada.
"For us to expand into the U.S., it's extremely important for us to be down here. We have to be at these shows for people to see us. We have to go out and see the actual oil companies and show them what we can do," said Troy Ellingworth, Co-Owner of NuWave Industries.
Event organizers say they expect around 75 businesses to come to midland over the course of the convention.
