LOVING, NM (KWES) - One Lovington man is facing four counts of attempted murder after he fired shots into a car.
Lovington police were called out to the 600 block of Eddy Street on a report of multiple shots fired.
According to the Lovington Police Department, Kristopher Mendez, 19, walked up to a car with 4 people inside and fired shots into the vehicle.
Mendez was arrested and charged with four counts of attempted murder and was booked into the Lea County Detention Facility with no bond.
Authorities say there were no reported injuries.
