ALPINE, TX (KWES) - According to the Alpine Police Department, the area where search crews are looking for missing Sul Ross student Zuzu Verk has now been expanded and the reward for information in her whereabouts or safe return of is now $30,000.

Areas of Marathon, Ft. Davis, South Brewster County, and Marfa/Presidio County will now be included in the search.

Over 120 law enforcement personnel helped with the search on Wednesday along with additional search and rescue teams.

The police department says they are searching these locations with the help of both private search agencies as well as several other law enforcement agencies.

Verk is described as 5 feet tall, 110 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes. Her natural hair color is brown but has recently been colored blonde.

She was last heard from during the early morning hours on Wednesday, October 12.

Verk is a student at Sul Ross State University and works on campus.

Police are also asking the public for information about two cars, a grey 2006 Jeep Liberty and a 2004 Mazda Miata convertible with a beige top. The vehicles were seen driving between the hours of midnight and 10 a.m. on Wednesday October 12, 2016.
