BIG SPRING, TX (KWES) - In the last 48 hours, Big Spring has seen several cases where counterfeit fifty dollar bills have been passed at local businesses.
The Big Spring Police Department is asking all businesses to be careful and to check all bills closely.
BSPD warns that while at this time only fifties are showing up, they anticipate that other bills could surface as well.
Business owners should go to the United States Secret Service website or contact the department if they need assistance in spotting these bills.
If you think you have received a counterfeit bill contact the Big Spring police immediately.
