MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - An accreditation granting organization gave Midland College a high rating on its dual credit program.
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges went to Midland College and a few other local high schools for a routine accreditation review..
According to the chair of the review team, they gave the college a "no recommendations," meaning that the committee found no inadequacies at all in Midland College's dual enrollment program.
We're told it is very rare for dual enrollment programs to receive such a high rating.
The community college currently have 1,093 high school students enrolled in their dual credit courses.
