STANTON, TX (KWES) - The Stanton Police Department arrested a male student after he took a cap gun to school and allegedly threatened to bring a real gun and "shoot up the school."

Tuesday morning, officers with the Stanton Police Department were told of an incident at Stanton High School that had occurred on Monday.

According to officers, the principal told them a student had been caught with a cap gun in class.
