ODESSA, TX (KWES) - The Medical Center Health System is making sure students in Odessa won't just be sitting behind a desk all day.

It's all thanks to Go-Noodle.

So what is Go-Noodle?

It's a collection of online videos and games to get students up and out of their seats and having some active fun in the classroom.

Students will be able to jump, run, even dance, all right next to their desks.

It's not all fun and games, go-noodle also includes activities aimed at helping students with math and spelling and vocabulary.

School administrators think learning actively is one of the best ways around.

"it's something positive and it reinforces positive behavior and also gets the kids up and moving, it gets us up and moving too," said Campus Curriculum Facilitator, Jessica Cravens.

Cravens said that even the teachers get in on the fun and that it's not uncommon to see them dancing along in the hallways.
