Odessa police announced the arrest of one man connected to the burglary of an ATM at Uncle’s Convenience Store last week.

Nathan Fox, 34, has been charged with burglary of a building, as well as false report to a police officer. More charges against Fox are expected to be filed.

Early last Thursday morning, officers responded to the Uncle’s Convenience Store in the 1500 block of South Grandview Ave for an alarm.

Authorities say investigation revealed that 2 suspects tied a chain to the back bumper of their vehicle and then attempted to pull the door from the hinges. They then used the same method to try and pull the ATM, but they were unsuccessful and ended up fleeing the scene.

Fox is also a suspect in two other ATM burglaries that occurred around the same time as the one on South Grandview Ave.

While police believe there to be one more suspect in the burglaries, no one else has been charged at this time.
