ODESSA, TX (KWES) - One man is behind bars accused of evading arrest on Sunday.
Odessa police said officers were called out to the 1200 block of East 44th St. in reference to a loud party.
When officers arrived, they spoke with Jorge Gonzales, 22, who police said was intoxicated.
That's when, according to police, Gonzales tried to evade officers but was later caught.
Gonzales was arrested and charged with evading arrest or detention with a prior conviction and public intoxication.
He was taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
