MIDLAND COUNTY, TX (KWES) - The speed limit for all residential roads in Midland County will be increased to 35 miles per hour.
That was the decision made during a county commissioner's meeting on Monday.
Midland County Sheriff Gary Painter said he is not in favor of the speed increase.
He said he wanted the speed to stay at 30 because it's safe and that people that were speeding when it was at 30 miles per hour will continue to speed even with a higher limit.
