ODESSA, TX (KWES) - One teen is behind bars after allegedly assaulting his 65-year-old grandmother in Odessa.
Officers were called out, around 11:30 p.m., to the 1600 block of East Everglade Ave. on a report of a domestic disturbance.
Authorities say the 65-year-old woman told officers that her grandson, Patrick Jenkins Jr., 17, had grabbed her arms, pulled them down and then pushed her into a wall.
Police say she fell down and her right elbow and forearm were injured due to the incident.
Jenkins was arrested and charged with injury to an elderly person.
