Odessa PD looking for suspect in stabbing, truck theft

Odessa police are searching for a suspect accused of stabbing a man in the throat with a knife and then stealing his truck and trailer.

Thursday night, around 10:20 p.m., officers were called out to the 700 block of North Kelley Avenue on a report of a stabbing.

When officers arrived, the victim Felix Cook-Galon, 55, told them a man had stabbed him in the throat with a knife and then stole his gray 2004 GMC Envoy bearing Texas LP BPK0993. The original description and license plate of the stolen vehicle was incorrect.

Attached to the pickup was a small wooden utility trailer containing lawn equipment.

No arrests have been made as of Friday morning. Police say the suspect is described as a thin Hispanic man in his twenties, wearing blue jeans.
